In all the years I’ve shot at Pembroke Lodge, I’ve never been in the Russell Suite so I was looking forward to seeing what it was like for Alexandra and Craigs wedding. Turns out – it’s beautiful! Especially when so much time and care has been spent setting it all up. I met up with Craig whilst waiting for Alexandra to arrive and he was certainly a little on the nervous side! There was no need to worry though, everything went really smoothly and you could see during the ceremony how much Craig and Alexandra mean to each other and the level of support they give to one another.
Fortunately, despite a not so good forecast, the weather held off so everyone was able to make the most of the beautiful space outside in Pembroke Lodge for drinks after the ceremony. The kids got to run around and burn some energy before the wedding breakfast whilst the adults had a glass of bubbles, a chat and to appreciate the stunning surroundings.
After the wedding breakfast, speeches and the traditional glass breaking, it was onto the dance floor. A great band saw the dance floor packed from the start and then the Horah kicked it all up a notch! What a great way to finish the evening and a wonderful end to a really lovely day.
As always, please enjoy some of my favourites from the day:
