On a glorious day in September I headed on over to Berkshire for the wedding of Lauren and Richard. The day started with bridal preps at their home before Lauren jumped into their gorgeous wedding car to head to St John the Baptist church, hidden away in Shottesbrooke Park. A stunning church, it made for a beautiful place for the ceremony.
With the service concluded, we made a move to Hall Place for the reception. I’ve not been there for a while and it was every bit as lovely as I remembered. Everyone took full advantage of the lovely sunshine and had a relaxed afternoon overlooking the gardens before the wedding breakfast.
After a great meal, some equally good speeches, and a spot of cake cutting it was time for the first dance to a fantastic live band, signalling the time for everyone to let their hair down and kick off a great evening.
