It seems so long ago that Paul and Emily booked me as their Hedsor House Wedding Photographer, yet time this year seems to have flown past. Before I knew it I was in the car heading once more to the utterly stunning Hedsor House to meet up with Emily for the bridal prep. The girls were all busy getting their hair and makeup sorted upstairs, plenty of that wedding morning energy flying about that makes it one of my favourite bits of the day.
Soon enough it the cars were arriving and we all headed to St Michaels Church in Bray. A spot of luck found me a parking spot right outside the church – no mean feat on a Saturday in Bray! Paul was already in the church with his best man Tim, waiting for Emily to arrive. There ceremony was followed by a short mingle outside the church before returning to Hedsor House for the rest of the day. The whole vibe of the day was fantastic. There seemed to be something happening everywhere I looked and it was easy enough for me to get lost in amongst the guests which was fantastic.
Lots of lovely finishing personal touches around Hedsor enhanced an already beautiful venue, and the guest contributed cakes looked fantastic. Live music had the dance floor packed right from the first dance, not even Emilys Grandad could resist! The evening was perfectly rounded off with a random fireworks display which must have been at Clivedon House.
It’s always a pleasure to shoot weddings at Hedsor House but this day was above and beyond expectations. Great couple, great guests, great wedding. Enjoy some of my favourite images from the day, and if you are looking for a Hedsor House wedding photographer, please feel free to contact me and we can have a chat!
