My first wedding of the season saw me at the Holy Trinity Church in Claygate, followed by Greyfriars House in Surrey for the wedding of Jenna and Michael. What a way to start the season!
Starting with bridal preparations at the lovely home of Jenna’s parents, the chilled out vibe meant I knew straight away it was going to be one of those fantastic days that is a real pleasure to document. Ready with loads of time to spare, I headed out the door to get myself to church and saw the beautiful convertible VW they had for their wedding car – what a brilliant choice!
After the service at Holy Trinity we drove over to Greyfriars House, just outside Guildford. An amazing venue with far reaching views over the Surrey Hills, it makes for a stunning wedding reception venue. We were lucky with the weather and the rain that seemed to be threatening all day held off, allowing people to make the most of the terraced garden and those views! The choice of local Hogs Back beer seemed to go down well with the guests too!
The speeches were great, I am sure that Michael was particularly grateful for the inclusion of some photos by his two best men! Good food followed before a swift turnaround of the main hall so the dancing could begin. A packed dance floor is a brilliant way to end the day and this was no exception. Right from the end of the first dance it filled up and stayed that way.
Such a great way to kick off 2014, it was a pleasure to be able to provide the Greyfriars House Wedding Photography for Jenna and Michael. For guests after the full gallery, please get the link and password from Jenna and Michael.
If you are getting married at Greyfriars and are looking for a photographer then please feel free to get in touch and we can have a chat through options. In the meantime, please enjoy some of my favourite photos from Jenna and Michaels fantastic day:
