I really don’t know where to start with Charlotte and Scotts wedding at Woodlands Park Hotel in Surrey. What. A. Day. I had a great feeling about this one and as I arrived for the bridal preps at Charlottes Dad’s flat and heard the music blasting out of the windows I knew my awesome wedding spider sense was spot on. The atmosphere was electric and made for a brilliant morning. The dress and veil (and oh what a veil it was!) went on and everyone was ready nice and early, so we headed outside to enjoy a bit of sunshine whilst the enormity of the day for Charlotte started to soak in. A couple of glasses of bubbly later and it was time to head to St Peters Church in Chertsey.
The service was lovely, lots of smiles and laughter, maybe the odd tear or two and a struggle for Charlotte to get the ring on Scotts finger. After the register was signed we headed outside through a hail of confetti before making our way to the Woodlands Park Hotel in Surrey.
This was one of those wedding receptions where everywhere you looked there was a photo waiting to be taken. Everyone was having a fantastic time and really enjoying themselves which is a documentary wedding photographers dream. After the wedding breakfast, the speeches were brilliant, once again plenty more laughter and a good few tears, before heading back outside to enjoy a bit more evening sunshine. I’d never seen so many happy blokes hugging each other before, then realised they had wifi and were watching Arsenal win the FA Cup.
A packed dancefloor rounded out the perfect day. Once again I was spoilt with non-stop opportunities for great photos. I’ve spent ages trying to narrow down the images for the blog, in the end I gave up so I apologise for the huge number of photographs I have posted below. I just couldn’t choose between them, it really was an amazing day. Please feel free to share and comment at the bottom of this page, I hope you enjoy looking through them as much as I enjoyed making them.
