Some days are just made for weddings, and this late October Saturday was one of them. Beautifully clear skies and gorgeous sunshine is always a good way to start the day, and at that time of year it makes for some really beautiful light.
I met up with Sara at the Independent MindBodySoul Aveda Salon in Balham for the bridal prep, followed by a quick trip back to their flat to grab a couple of detail shots. After that I headed over to Dartmouth House for the rest of the day. Will was found having a quick, pre-wedding drinks at The Only Running Footman a couple of doors down before heading back for the ceremony and the proper start of a wonderful day.
It was a really wonderful wedding in a beautiful location, we also had access to Berkley Square for some post ceremony shots of Will and Sara in some stunning autumnal light. The wedding speeches took place in the ornate stairwell before the meal, top marks go to will for a superb speech without so much as a note for guidance!
The dance floor was packed from about 15 seconds into Will and Sara’s (ever so slightly unusual) first dance (Da Do Ron Ron for those wondering!) which is how I love the evenings to be.
All in all an utterly fantastic day with some really great people. I love my job! Now for a picture or two…..
