A couple of weeks ago I drove up to Derby to second shoot for Samantha Hook at the wedding of Emma & Nick, held at the very pretty Cathedral Quarter Hotel. The forecast heavy snow started to fall just after the ceremony and along with a fierce cold wind meant that the outdoor shots were done in double-time (my hands started to freeze to a light stand!).
It’s not often I second shoot, but when I do it’s quite nice to be able to step back a little and look at things from a slightly different angle. It’s also pretty interesting to see how someone else works, especially when they have a slightly different shooting style. I also got to meet Sam’s husband Andrew and her utterly gorgeous little baby Eloise!
Photography wise, a of my favourites from the day:

Nice job Chris, as always your details are stunning and I do like the photo on the stairs
Oh god, I must have stared at the bride going up the stairs for 5-minutes … started scrolling down then back up to the same pic – AWESOME!
Brilliant.
A fabulous set Chris some truly beautiful shots and the bride walking up the stairs is amazing, Like Rob I just kept going back.
Fantastic work. Very very classy. Love your toning.
Like Rob says, the staircase image is rather special. A great collection of images again Chris, stunning quality.
Stunning images, again the bride on the stairs is fabulous
Love the frosty, snowy feel to these photographs and the staircase one is magic!
