After a really fun engagement shoot over at Hampton Court Palace a few weeks back, I was really looking forward to this wedding. It was up and out early to avoid the potential traffic from the overnight snow and to meet with Jacqueline at the London Syon Park Hotel for the bridal preparations. As cool and as calm as could be, Jacqueline was getting her make up put on whilst I went to work trying to do justice to some of the beautiful jewellery and other details from the day.
Due to the time of year, Jason and Jacqueline opted to see each other before the wedding so that we could get some shots of the two of them incase we ran out of time (and light) later on. After that we drove over the The Petersham Hotel in Richmond for the wedding ceremony. A small and intimate affair, with close friends and family, it was all very relaxed and went really well. We got a few shots of two of them, although the bitterly cold winds prevented us from straying too far from the warmth of the hotel (well, that and the cupcakes…). Afterwards, we returned to the Syon Park Hotel for the wedding breakfast.
Once the wedding breakfast was over, we still had some light so braved the cold once more for a final few shots outside, although Jacqueline swapped the Carvela’s for a pair of Ugg boots!

Lovely natural feel to these wedding images. Very nice .
Great set of photographs Chris. I especially like the staircase and balcony shots – lovely!
Chris, I’ve enjoyed looking at every single image you’ve shown in this wedding. You create something beautiful with your lens and it’s so enjoyable to view.
Jason & Jacqueline must be so happy they chose you as their wedding photographer.
Lovely ring photos Chris and beautiful wedding photographs
Stunning images Chris. Really like the detail images and the shots during the ceremony. Lovely captures.
Beautiful work as ever Chris. There’s a real style and flow to your images which I admire. Do I detect a 35mm being used I recognise that look from a thousand miles away??
Thanks Phil, and yes, my 35mm f/1.4 is probably used for about 85% of my work these days. Love it.
Totally amazing set of images Chris, I love them… the processing is spot on and suits the images to a tea…. faultless!
I was captivated from start to finish Chris, this is a beautiful collection of images. Your style professionalism shine through, fabulous work.
