It’s taken a while, but here is the full post for Sergei and Evgeniyas Russian Orthodox Wedding. Both the preparations and the reception were at the stunning Warren House in Kingston upon Thames, Surrey and the ceremony was held at the Russian Orthodox Church in Chiswick.
One of the things I love about this job is that every wedding is different, and this was certainly the case for me. I had never shot a Russian Orthodox wedding before so I was incredibly excited to do so. One of the advantages about being a documentary wedding photographer is that the language barrier (my Russian is awful) is not so much of an issue, you are there to document the day as it unfolds. Through doing so you get to experience fantastic new things and learn a lot about different cultures.
It was an amazing wedding and Sergei and Evgeniya were the perfect hosts, I certainly thoroughly enjoyed the day. I do have to apologise though, I know my blog posts can be long at the best of times, but this one is a monster! Just too many great moments in the day:

Wow that is a total different type of wedding than I am used to. It’s very unique. Great work.
Love the vibrancy of the outdoor shots and the fun mood of the dancing shots.
[…] rear wall reminded me a lot of the Russian Orthodox Church in Chiswick I photographed back for Sergei and Evgeniya a couple of years ago. The rest of the service went without issue and we returned to Addington […]
